RESTORATION (Info and Pricing)
This is a totally digital process. The condition of your original negative or print will not be altered in any way.

The original print or negative is either scanned or photographed to create a digital file. It is this file that is edited to repair tears, cracks, spots and colour or contrast.

Once completed you will have time to examine a proof print. If this meets with your satisfaction the digital file is sent to a professional photographic lab for printing.

It is difficult to give an exact pricing structure as damage to each original print is unique. Kevin will give you a reasonable estimate of the cost after viewing the original and discussing your exact requirements.

Payment only becomes due on the delivery of a satisfactory, repaired print.

There is currently no charge for examining and scanning or photographing your original which is returned to you at the proof stage or earlier on request.

Image Manipulation
You may request changes to the background and have people removed. Inserting people or object from one photograph to another is possible but unlikely to be totally successful due to differences in lighting but Kevin will examine both photos carefully and give you a realistic idea of what to expect from the finished print. Price is dependant on the amount of work required.

PhotoMontage
A single print containg the whole or parts of other prints. They can take the form of a tribute to someone special or simply be a great reminder of a particularly great time in your life or a record of your children as they grew up. Whatever you choose the montage is assembled using digital copies of your images to create a unique print. Price will be dependant on the number of images involved plus any retouching that is required. Contact Kevin for a quote.
